MHS Students get Hands-On Experience at Round Butte Hatchery
Students in the Natural Resources CTE pathway had an incredible opportunity to learn more about the skills and techniques that a fisheries or wildlife manager need to be successful in their role. One opportunity students in the fisheries and wildlife management class just got to experience first-hand is going to the Round Butte Hatchery. They got to learn and participate in the entire process of fish propagation, from start to finish. This gives our students a hands-on experience to see what it takes to manage our state’s natural resources. This project takes what they learn in the class, and allows them to apply it to a real-world situation.
