Hearts of 509J
Our 'Hearts of 509J' program recognizes Jefferson County School District 509J employees who are going above and beyond, represent our district's core values, and are making a difference in the lives of their students and school community. Our educators and staff contribute immensely to the success of our district. This program aims to spotlight the efforts of our team members that help create an environment where our students can flourish.
We know you all know an educator, bus driver, food services worker, school secretary, who consistently shows up for students, a staff member who makes the day better or someone whose great work has gone unnoticed. This is your opportunity to highlight them!
We encourage you to share specific examples of how they’re made a positive impact. The more details you can provide and how they match with our district’s core values of Students Flourish Here, We Care for Each Other, and Better Every Day, the better we can highlight their contributions.
Every staff member in our district is eligible for recognition and anyone can submit a nomination. Winners are announced on a monthly basis.
