Jefferson County 509J Families,
The school district is happy to announce that Driver education courses will be offered at Madras High School, at no cost to JCSD 509J families, this upcoming summer.
Classroom sessions will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00-3:00pm starting on July 11. The classes will end on August 15. There will also be behind the wheel sessions once a week for two hours starting July 18-August 26.
The behind the wheel sessions will be at various times Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the afternoons for two-hour slots. Students will pick a drive time that works best for them after they register. They should plan on driving on the same day of the week and time for their driving sessions all six weeks.
509J is covering registration costs for families for this first summer of programming.
