Important Notification from Warm Springs K8 Academy
WSK8 Families,
Jefferson County Public Health notified our school district that a student who attends the Warm Springs K8 Academy has been confirmed to have pertussis (whooping cough). After consulting with local Warm Springs health authorities, we are encouraging anyone who has a persistent cough to contact Warm Springs Indian Health Services at (541) 553-1196 to learn what to do next. Points of contact at Indian Health Services are Tammy Wilson, Diane Fuller and Marc Mason. In addition, local health authorities are encouraging any non-vaccinated students to be vaccinated for pertussis.
